Medication Assistance Fund
No woman should have to choose between her health and her ability to afford the medications she needs.
The Foundation covers eligible prescription costs through participating independent pharmacies, funded entirely by donors. Choose the door that belongs to you.
You are not asking for a favor.
This fund exists because prescriptions cost more than many households can carry, and because rationing a medication is a medical problem, not a character flaw. Donors put money here for exactly this purpose. Using it is the point.
Who qualifies
- You live in the United States and are 18 or older.
- Your household income is at or below 400% of the federal poverty guideline for your household size.
- You have a current prescription from a licensed prescriber.
- The medication is not fully covered by your insurance, or you have no insurance.
- Assistance is available whether or not you are a MenoGrowth participant.
If you're near the line, apply anyway. Case managers review circumstances, not just numbers.
How the application works
- 01
Send the application
The form below takes about ten minutes. Answer what you can. If you don't know something, leave it and your case manager will help.
- 02
A case manager calls you
One person is assigned to your case and stays with it. You will not have to repeat your story to a queue of strangers.
- 03
Documentation
Your case manager tells you exactly which papers are needed and which ones you can skip. Nothing is requested that isn't required.
- 04
Assistance at the pharmacy
Approved assistance is delivered through participating independent pharmacies. You pick up your prescription; the Foundation settles the balance directly with the pharmacy.
What you'll be asked for
- Proof of income
- A recent pay stub, benefits letter, Social Security statement, or last year's tax return.
- Household information
- Who lives in your home and how many people your income supports.
- Insurance status
- Your card, a denial letter, or a note that you have no coverage.
- Prescription details
- The medication name and your prescriber's name and phone number.
Your case manager gathers what's needed with you. If a document is hard to get, say so — there is usually another way to show the same thing.
